Having a strong interest in mathematics and physics led me to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering in the National University of Singapore.
A firm believer in having education beyond academics and also a passionate sports enthusiast, I participated actively in the schools co-curricular activities and was a member of the badminton and swimming team in my secondary school as well as the captain of my college swim team. Seeking new challenges, I also joined the Aquathlon team in the National University of Singapore.
Active participation in sports and having the opportunity in leadership has helped me to developed in numerous non-academic areas such as teamwork, communication skills as well as leadership skills.

- Hi!! My name is Joo Soon and I am from Singapore and I am Chinese (in case I look otherwise). I am currently in my fourth year in the National University of Singapore and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Some of my hobbies include running, swimming (which probably explains my rather tanned complexion), playing badminton, reading books, travelling and also hanging out with my friends. My interest in both running and swimming has led me to join the NUS Aquathlon Team and also to participate events like the Singapore Biathlon and our very own NUS biathlon.

Yes, i agree with sheenee. You need have more specific details about yourself instead of the reason why. the readers would like to know what you have done, what's your personality in your biodata. It will be very attracting to readers, if you talk more about your acctivities. It is fun.
Interesting and systematically organised biodata. Would have been good though to include some of your achievements over the years.
